Professor Raja Raman, I am proud to say that he was a part of electrical engineering family. It was he and his teaching which actually started the computer science as a discipline, as an industry in India and I was told by his colleagues that he was a very generous and helpful person during his interactions with several colleagues and also for the duration he stayed here. His teachings were very popular and large number of students attended his class.
On behalf of the department and on my personal behalf, I pray to God to rest his peace in soul and I am sure his legacy of both teaching and innovations which he started will carry on. Thank you.
