To the former colleagues and students of Professor Rajaraman for sharing their thoughts and experience with us. It is indeed very inspiring to see how Professor Rajaraman pioneered computer science education in India. He is not with us today, but his extraordinary contribution to computer science will continue to motivate all of us. He is truly a role model for each faculty member.
We started a lecture series last year. This series is called Eyes on Research. Its speakers are outstanding and passionate researchers in India who have the skill of explaining difficult concepts in an easy and engaging manner, even to undergraduate students. We had three lectures in this series till now. This series has turned out to be very popular. We have received very positive feedback from students and faculty members. As a tribute to Professor Rajaraman, this series will henceforth be called the Rajaraman Lecture Series. Namaskar.
